confronti 2014 economia
The analysis of economic competitiveness of Ticino highlights various critical aspects emerging in comparison with the rest of Switzerland. The actual challenge concerns the ability to read and interpret these factors in a new way transforming them into competitive asset for our economic system. Next year EXPO 2015 will be held close by: could this global event represent an opportunity for our territory?
confronti-economia 2014 aims to explore these issues, by means of involving researchers, policymakers and industry representatives who will discuss the actual situation and future opportunities for our canton.
The program foresees presentations by the speakers from IRE-USI, as well as other universities, which will identify the main impacts and the key factors of mega events, including the ability to generate value in the area. The first section is concluded with the discussion of the opportunities for Ticino. In the second section panel discussion of academics, institutional and economic operators will take place.
